How We Began

Don Utz and Jeff Rhodes founded Metalcraft Precision Machining in Don’s garage in 1997. Since then, we have grown to be a thriving contributor of the Michiana business community.

Our Founder

Donald (Skip) Utz founded Metalcraft Precision Machining in 1997. He has a wife and three kids, two of them co-own the business currently. He worked 24 years and finally retired in early 2021. He is now retired in Colorado and stays busy in retirement.
